「豐收時光」以俄羅斯的楚瓦什自共和國(Chuvash Republic)作為主要的拍攝場地。除了楚瓦什自的總統費奧羅夫跟導演馬蓮納‧拉芝畢斯堅娜(Marina Razbezhkina)是 同屆大學畢業生，因利成便外，更重要的，是故事的時空鎖在四五十年代共黨主政的蘇聯。中學所讀到的世界歷史，集中蘇聯的國際關係上所擔當的角色及位置，反而沒有對蘇共政體下國內的人民生活狀況作出詳細闡述（…閱讀全文）
