《姨媽的後現代生活》是一個平平實實的故事，寫姨媽的晚年生活。電影開始時輕輕鬆鬆，但結束時卻是沉沉重重。這當中沒有使用甚麼的煽情手法去撩撥觀眾情緒，只是描寫現實，但也是這套電人令人傷感之處。
