此片的氣份營造是相當出色的… 故事就是這樣的一個”家春秋”式的倫理故事。是天意弄人, 還是天公造美呢？
… 可能跟執導的是女性有關, 電影手法在掌握人與人之間的溝通與感情起伏相當細緻, 大量利用近鏡Close Up來拍攝角色的眼、嘴、手, 製造氣氛的層次相當出色, 把一個老掉牙的故事拍得戲味濃郁、細膩感人。亦可能同是丹麥風格, 跟Dogma電影的手法有點一脈相承的感覺.
