防腐攪作 Taxidermia - György Pálfi,2006)
是日觀影了兩部不同風格的作品, 當然水準也有分別的, 法國代表找來兩位法國型男<情尋貓腳印>Romain Duris及<戲夢巴黎>Louis Garrel合演講及三父子, 兩兄弟, 或是愛情的<巴黎情事>, 以及一部由祖父, 父親到自己三代, 藉著三代不同的經歷, 講出對今日社會的殘酷世界作出一個判決的<防腐攪作>.
<巴黎情事>講及兩兄弟Paul及Jonathan分別有不同的情事, 哥哥Paul因為跟女友分手而終日不安, 弟弟Jonathan則周圍尋找另一半, 他們二人跟父親的關係也不算太好, 但是藉著彼此之間的情事, 令三父子的關係也好起來……

(討論電影:你說過你愛我 You Told Me, You Love Me - Rudolf Thome,2006)
電影給人孤單的感覺, 尤其是117分鐘裡用的音樂都是一貫的帶點悽愴又孤單的旋律, 即使劇情有點轉變, 音樂仍是那個模樣, 就是那份孤單感.
人物不多, 就是那三數個角色, 節奏頗慢, 有些悶場.
電影描寫母女關係頗細膩, 雖不是一起生活, 但感情深厚, 互相扶持, 兩母女失戀時一起去游泳, 母親叫女兒回來一起住, 二人依偎在沙發上, 每一幕都給人深刻印象.

Thanks to a flashback structure, we see Nick’s rise in the gang juxtaposed to his slump once he’s back in uniform. Without being heavy-handed, the film juxtaposes a scene of Nick trying to return to civilian life with a parallel moment in his Triad days. It isn’t easy to advance two stories at once, but Yau manages it easily…

這套狂想核突B級電影其實娛樂性很豐富的…
雖是一套人類災難恐佈片, 核突鏡頭一浪接一浪, 但爛gag處處, 短短90多分鐘沒有絲毫悶場…

this 1981 effort whose screenings weren’t officially part of the Hong Kong International Film Festival is the better as well as more interesting work.
The first cinematic production out of Hong Kong to employ an art director (and what an art director he turned out to be in William Cheung Suk Ping!), there’s much in this artistic slasher horror that’s seriously beautiful to beholdOne Way Street on a Turntable (Hong Kong, 2006) - 唱盤上的單行道
I did pay to attend the world premiere of this 74 minute piece that purportedly is a “contemplative portrait of Hong Kong past and present” and all. Alas, however, the truth, plain and simple, is that I think that this is precisely the kind of work that gives film festival and/or independent fare a bad name.
Half Moon (Iran/Iraq, 2006) - 月半之歌
this gem of a road movie that takes its viewers through scenic landscapes in borderlands which are rarely captured on film. In turns funny, sad, absurd, moving, dream-like and — above all else — haunting, this fourth feature film from Kurdish director Basman Ghobadi centers on an aging musician named Mamo who’s intent on performing for the first time in over 30 years in Iraqi Kurdistan.

當看到一半時,覺得劇情實在老土得要命… 劇情雖然老土,但手法卻不老土,一切有如片名<<婚宴背後>>,當中所說的是榮華富貴背後的故事,一個大家族下各人所收藏的秘密… 電影內的情的確很好看,唯嫌側寫非洲的兒童問題,有點觸不著搔癢,格格不入的感覺.

本片的劇本也非常出色,沒有流於過份故弄玄虛。當觀眾們以為所有的舖排也只一場遊戲時,原來反而是一齣無可挽回的悲劇開端。當真相一步一步被揭露時,觀眾的情緒不斷地被掀往下沉。(…閱讀本文)

這齣同名電影一定可以幫到你,開宗明義是一部圍繞「fu*k」這4個字母大書特書的紀錄片,我看來,格式跟明珠台深夜會播的時事雜誌節目差不多。但不容置疑它的資料性。影片涵蓋的範圍甚廣:宗教、政治、教育、歷史、語言學、電檢監管各方面全方位探討與這個字眼的鍥合,探討認真得讓人會心微笑,饒是有趣。(…閱讀全文)

(討論電影:變態者電影指南 The Pervert’s Guide To Cinema(Sophie Fiennes,2006))
全片分成3個part,本身就比較適合分次觀看,因為內容不易消化。加上我在觀影時全程聽英文(無字幕,對我這種英文閱讀能力遠勝聆聽能力的人是苦差),齊生那種東歐口音濃烈的英語真的弄得我頭暈轉向,而且我還要與低垂的眼皮抗爭。(…閱讀全文)

(討論電影:歲月榮光 Days of Glory(Rachid Bouchareb,2006))
此電影講述的是法國為了擊退德軍,在殖民地招集軍隊參與盟軍的行動,以加強法軍軍力。這些外來軍隊在作戰中漸漸反思自己協助法軍的目的,爭取與法國軍人同等對待,並漸漸形成「為自由、為平等、為解放而戰」的信念。所以,相對於《雷霆救兵》(Saving the Private Ryan)著重描寫小隊戰及隊長人物描寫,《歲》則比較著重軍人的思想及方向。電影透過對白及經歷來描寫,加上適當的劇情編排,令此作在描寫內心思維之餘亦不會沉悶。(…閱讀全文)
